Our Guide To Planning Your Perfect Wedding Day
Photographer & Videographer
Set aside a good portion of your budget for your photographer, these images will last a lifetime and you’ll look back at them time and time again. Our advice is always to have a videographer. Camel Studio owner, Helen and their Wedding Coordinator, Phoebe agree that this was something they didn’t have at their own weddings but now wish they had.
Photos are wonderful but they are only heightened by the addition of great video content where you can capture precious moments of raw emotion, your vows, the speeches… The list goes on!
Budget
On the note of your budget, we recommend sitting down at the beginning of your planning process to think about the elements of your wedding that are most important to you. For example, live music might be a must-have whereas adorning your venue with lots of fabulous florals might not or vice versa. We would also recommend that you get a number of quotes especially for flowers and catering as prices can vary a lot.
Guest List
Don’t be afraid to only invite those people you really want at your wedding. There will be pressure to invite your cousins, everyone’s children, plus ones but it’s your day and so our advice is to have the day that you really want.
Suppliers
It’s important to not only choose suppliers who you feel create the right aesthetic but also those you really connect with. Photographers, caterers, venue owners, and coordinators will form a big part of your team and it’ll make your planning process and your special day so much lovelier if you get on with all the suppliers you choose!
