Your Ceremony

Camel Studio offers the choice of an indoor or outdoor licensed ceremony. Our barn is a romantic space with huge doors opening onto a view of fields and wooded hills. Or take your vows under the Cornish sun among our gardens that roll down to the valley beyond.

Camel Studio is licensed for indoor and outdoor ceremonies for up to 50 guests.

The Barn

Camel Studio is not a typical rustic barn with its white walls, muslin drapes and festoon lights. White trestle tables, pretty cross-back chairs, a grand piano, olive trees and large ferns complement this beautiful canvas for you to style as you choose. The mood is warm and welcoming, light and bright, romantic yet practical with a fully-equipped kitchen and cloakroom. The outside courtyard has a Mediterranean feel with olive trees, flower-filled pots, comfortable seating and pretty blue and green parasols.

AccomModation

Our boutique farmhouse sleeps eight in four pretty bedrooms. A stylish sitting room, light-filled kitchen, three bathrooms and a bridal dressing room provide all you need for a relaxing exclusive-use two-night stay. Additionally the bridal cabin nestles in a secluded spot in the garden where you can retreat after your big day. Here you’ll find the comfiest of beds, a roll-top bath and champagne on ice. In the morning, pull back the curtains to reveal stunning views across the valley.

The Gardens

The expansive top lawn is a perfect setting for your outdoor ceremony and for drinks and canapes. Our stunning ash tree is a focal point and popular for group photos. Vintage garden games are a favourite among guests and a fun way for everyone to enjoy the space and country setting. Our lower lawn has a pond with overhanging willow, an orchard, and wilded areas providing many possibilities for your photography. Take some time, just the two of you, to wander in this romantic environment.

Dedicated Support

We are Helen & David, the owners of Camel Studio and, along with Jess our wedding coordinator, we engage with every couple, from your initial booking through to the end of your big day. We host a limited number of weddings each year so that we can dedicate the time to get to know you and share our expertise as you plan your wedding. We are there throughout the entire wedding weekend providing you with our undivided care and attention. On the day itself, we are supported by Jess and an experienced and friendly team. We work together to ensure that your wedding is everything you imagined.

The Camel Valley

The Camel Valley is designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty and our location within this stunning landscape sets Camel Studio apart. We have the perfect spot to enjoy the views of rolling hills and woodlands, pastures and hedgerows with abundant wild flowers. Within easy reach is the Camel River, with its ancient bridges and forests, offering a variety of photo opportunities to our couples.
