From the moment we stepped out of the car at Camel Studio we knew it was the one - a breathtakingly beautiful venue even on a grey and drizzly day in January and greeted by Helen’s warm and friendly smile!

After spending an hour or so with Helen, showing us round the venue and instantly making our lives easier - explaining how she’d help book the taxis for all the wedding guests - we couldn’t wait to book! So much so the minute we drove away (on route to see a couple more venues) we were on the phone to book the Registrar and secure the date for our wedding at Camel Studio.

Helen’s communication throughout the 14 months in the lead up to our big day was exceptional, recommending suppliers, helping clarify any questions we had and supporting us in making our dream day become a reality.

The night before the wedding, the bridal party stayed at Camel Studio and were served a delicious meal cooked by Dave (a truly incredible chef!) and settled in for an early night ahead of the big day!

Waking up on the morning of the wedding to the rolling Cornish hills baked in sunshine we knew we’d lucked out with the weather and we were able to get married outside! We enjoyed champagne and canapés in the garden and a wedding breakfast in the barn, followed by table tennis, marshmallows over the fire pit, drinks, dancing and of course Dave’s delicious pizzas (which all our guests commented on).

Dave and Helen are the perfect hosts and it is evident that the care, attention and hard work that they’ve put in to Camel Studio is what makes it so special. We had the most magical day and we couldn’t recommended Camel Studio and Helen and Dave enough!
